A connection is established between god and man, not unknowingly, but subconsciously in his mind, which he further strengthens and unfolds through his actions. From the time a child is a small toddler, he is advised by elders of the house to thank god for any new thing he sees or does. It is so believed that under the powerful blessings of god, the child starts learning new things and his ability further improves as he continues to bind himself strongly with god.
